About This CourseThe AAOS Guideline on the Prevention of Pulmonary Embolism was created as an educational tool and guide for managing the prevention of symptomatic PE in patients undergoing total hip or knee arthroplasty. You will gain a comprehensive overview of the new recommendations, the rationale of an orthopaedic-focused approach, and methods for gaining hospital acceptance of this new evidence-based, risk-stratified guideline.
