Certain insurance companies provide a premium discount for taking a certain number of risk management type CME programs. While the AAOS programs may not at this time qualify for this program, we hope that over time insurance companies will use the AAOS programs as one of many methods for fulfilling their requirements.
The following list provides names and links to insurance companies that do offer a discount on insurance premiums for taking Category 1 CME in designated Risk Management programs.
Be sure to contact your insurance
company to confirm that you are eligible for a discount. Discount
may be dependant on renewal date. You are responsible for contacting
your carrier regarding eligibility and participation, and for providing
verification of completion of the course.
