In this series of slide lectures, Drs. Amendola, Gocke, and Spindler present current information on the use of allograft tissue in a variety of orthopaedic indications. Emphasis is on the safety and efficacy of allograft bone and soft-tissue grafts. With more than 1.5 million allografts now implanted annually in the U.S., surgeons and other health care professionals have the responsibility to learn the facts about bone healing and graft incorporation as it relates to tissue processing and sterilization techniques.
