Knee MRI/Arthroscopy Correlations - Case 6: Synovial Chondromatosis of the Knee

In the sixth of an ongoing series of arthroscopy/MRI correlations case studies, Dr. Levin and Dr. Lazarus illustrate and compare the MRI and arthroscopic findings in a 27-year-old male with a 2-year history of right knee pain and swelling. Dr. Levin, Chief of the Division of Sports Medicine in Orthopaedic Surgery at NorthShore University Health System Medical Group, first discusses presentation and physical examination findings. Dr. Lazarus, Chief of the Section of Musculoskeletal Radiology at Northshore University Health System Medical Group, then assesses the findings on MRI, followed by Dr. Levin's video narration of the arthroscopic examination and procedure. This case study includes an interactive imaging quiz.
