January 05, 2018

Contributors: Dean K Matsuda, MD

This video demonstrates an adjunctive arthroscopic acetabuloplasty in a case where pincer impingement blocked access to the fracture. Pincer impingement repair requires an experienced fragment segment is repaired first, then the pincer acetabuloplasty is performed. This aids in the angle of approach of the fragment fixation screws. Two screws are placed on either side of the displaced labrum.
