This video demonstrates radical resection of a left hemipelvis osteosarcoma. The patient discussed in this video is a 9-year-old boy with a history of Li-Fraumeni syndrome and adrenocortical carcinoma. Radiographs and MRIs confirmed left pelvis osteosarcoma. The patient underwent preoperative chemotherapy, which resulted in a substantially positive response. The tumor was removed along with a large portion of the left hemipelvis. Multiple muscle flaps were performed in the left lower extremity and were rotated and sutured for muscle function. The surgery resulted in excellent outcomes, and the patient is doing well.
