This video demonstrates arthroscopic repair of a humeral avulsion of the glenohumeral ligament in a professional baseball player, which is performed in the lateral decubitus position and in combination with open teres major repair. The video highlights visualization, arthroscopic portal placement, and technical pearls to help surgeons arthroscopically manage this difficult problem. Although open humeral avulsion of the glenohumeral ligament repair is a treatment option, an arthroscopic approach affords improved visualization, decreased morbidity, and the ability to manage any concomitant pathology, such as partial-thickness rotator cuff tears or labral fraying.
