Posterior Approach to Total Hip Arthroplasty

Abstract

Many surgeons use the posterior approach routinely for their primary total hip arthroplasty. Because of the extensile nature of the posterior approach and the excellent exposure it affords, it is our approach of choice for revision hip arthroplasty.
