Abstract

The treatment of complex fractures of the proximal humerus in elderly patients continues to evolve. For fractures that require surgery, the popularity of reverse shoulder arthroplasty as a treatment option continues to grow. Techniques that emphasize repair of the greater tuberosity have facilitated reliable outcomes for these challenging fractures.
