Description: Currently, there are many procedures being performed for the surgical management of irreparable cuff tears. The main question to answer needs to change: the question is not which procedure is superior to all others, but what is the best indication for each of these procedures. This webinar will review current indications for SCR, balloon, tendon transfers and reverse shoulder arthroplasty.

Learning Objectives:

(1) To review current indications of SCR, balloon implantation, tendon transfers and reverse arthroplasty for theirreparable cuff tear

(2) To clarify the relative indications for SCR and balloon in younger patients with no arthritis and no external rotation lag sign

(3) To understand how to optimize reverse arthroplasty for the cuff-decient shoulder

Director: Joaquin Sanchez-Sotelo, MD.
