Description: Proximal humerus fractures can be challenging to treat with high complication rates from open reduction internal fixation, especially in multipart fractures andolder patients. Arthroplasty has emerged as a critical tool in managing these fractures. In this webinar we will review the latest trends and techniques in arthroplasty for proximal humerus fractures, including indications, technical pearls for reverse TSA, and how to stay out of trouble. We will conclude with casepresentation and discussion as well as Q&A.

Learning Objectives:

- To learn current trends in indications for reverse shoulder arthroplasty for proximal humerus fracture, versus other treatments (nonoperative management,ORIF, and hemiarthroplasty)

- To review technical pearls to perform shoulder arthroplasty for fracture

- To discuss complications and how to avoid and manage them

Director: Gregory Cvetanovich, MD.
