Description: Movement is Life—Optimizing Patient Access to Total Joint Arthroplasty Collection Movementis Life is a non-profit multistakeholder coalition dedicated to promoting health equity and eliminating musculoskeletal healthcare disparities. To address the relationship between preoperative optimization for total joint arthroplasty (TJA) and healthcare disparities, Movementis Life has coordinated with the JAAOS Editorial Board and more than a dozen orthopaedic surgeons to prepare a series of articles focusing on specific elements of optimization which may affect access to TJA.
