Description: This webinar plans to discuss the limits of intramedullary nailing to treat complex short segment long bone fractures of the lower extremity. It will address common pitfalls encountered when nailing short segment fractures, utilizing adjunctive tools to facilitate fracture reduction and accurate nail pathway placement, and techniques to salvage incorrect nail pathways.

- Recognize common pitfalls with nailing short segment fractures

- Understand adjunctive tools utilized to facilitate fracture reduction and proper nail placement

- Understand the use of techniques to salvage deformity/malalignment and incorrect nail pathways
