Description: This webinar will review up to date treatment of adult and pediatric traumatic hip dislocations. This will include initial work-up at presentation and critical decision making for treatment, surgical approaches including for associated injuries such as femoral head or acetabulum fracture, and complications seen following injury.
Learning Objectives:
- Describe standard radiographic studies needed in initial work-up
- Describe possible differences of injury pattern in pediatric or adolescent injury vs. adults
- Describe complications that may result following injury and initial treatment
